Sanjo-chan no Anime

A sister blog of "Nakashima of Remora" focusing on the latest trends in the anime industry.

New Website Project

Sometime ago, I said I wanted to create a blog not hosted by blogspot (no offense guys!), well, it's now under way. It is called CENTAKUME.

It's all three of my Naka blogs in one: NAKREM, NAKIME, and NAKOW. Covering Final Fantasy XI, World of Warcraft, and Anime!

Please come over and check it out. It's still under development, but it will officially be open to the blogosphere around August.

Happy 2007!

Finally! I thought 2006 would never end! I haven't forgot about this blog. I'm dealing with some real life issues, but I plan to get back on track in the coming days, or weeks.

Welcome to the NHK ended a couple of weeks ago, but I will still post about the remaining episodes.

Death Note is now at episode 12. It didn't air during the Christmas week. Hopefully they will show it in Japan tomorrow.

Sumomomo Momomomo and any other anime that comes my way will eventually follow later in the month.

Finally, I am contemplating on new features to add to the site. Maybe doujinshi, anime store and manga reviews.

Well, take care!

YouTube Vs. Japan

Anime News Network has an news story about YouTube's deletion of Japanese commercials and full length anime, at the request of Japanese television stations. This is somewhat interesting since Google now owns YouTube, but it's sad because this Copyright thing is getting out of hand. I mean, people make AMVs for fun, not profit, and the companies see a problem with it. The property holders should be glad that people are really into their show, but then again...*sigh* I just hope they don't target fanfiction next.

Temporary Hiatus

Due to an family emergency, I will not be able to update this blog for a few days. I was not able to access an computer to watch anime or use it for more than 5 hours (an guest was staying in the same room). Death Note 8-9 and NHK 21-20 have not been looked at yet, but when I finally get the time, which will hopefully be soon, I will post it.

Welcome to the NHK [Episode 18] -SPOILERS-

Sorry for the delay. Even though I'm an episode late (Thanks alot, World of Warcraft), I will post this anyway.

In this episode, our Heroine, Sato, finds out that he has been tricked by an old school mate, Megumi. Sato-kun's friends help him take back the MLM products he brought to Megumi, but in the end, they were tricked again. Another good episode. I'll post about episode 19 around Thanksgiving. Episode 21 is almost here, and getting close to the final episode (?).

L, Do You Know I Love Death Note A Lot?

Oh, my goodness! This manga Death Note is AWESOME! Death Note is the best thing I have gotten into since FMA 2 years ago.

This was recommended to me by a friend of mine 3 years ago before it was licensed by Viz. I started reading DN after I moved to Chattanooga. That was sometime in Mid-July. After reading chapter one I downloaded from a website, I was hooked! Reading what happened at the end of that chapter got me a bit upset: I was missing a lot.

Now, it's a good thing I waited this long to read it. Because it's a good series to have in my physical collection, rather than having the scans. Since it took me 4 months to catch up to the current volume I'm waiting on, I'm not missing a thing: I'm up to date with the manga, the anime is on the air in Japan, the second movie is a hit in the Japanese Box Office and I would be glad to see the English adaption of Death Note, ala "RINGU" and "JU-ON: The Grudge." All the other anime I was into back when I started watching anime were old and I was missing out on a lot. I'm older now, I'm catching up with newer anime...

I'm sorry, I trailed off there for a minute. I was just thinking over all the anime I watched and finding Death Note the best one.

The really moral of the story is that...WHAT'S TAKING THEM SO LONG TO RELEASE VOLUME 8?!
